villa designed by
Alexander Jackson Davis,
as it features the
classic tale ‘Twas
the Night Before
Christmas. In each
room, Christmas trees
decorated in seasonal
splendor by area
florists showcase the
passages from this
perennial
favorite. Tour the
mansion at your own
pace, with help from our
holiday guides.

sleeping mouse,
stockings, sugar plums &
more.

Children
and their families are
invited to Locust Grove
on Sunday afternoons for
this holiday special
which features the
classic tale ‘Twas
the Night Before
Christmas.
With your own unique
book in hand, collect
the clues to the tale as
your travel through the
mansion’s decorated
rooms. Can you
find the sleeping mouse,
the children’s
stockings, and father’s
sleeping cap?
After you have found the
clues, return to the
Visitor Center for a telling
of ‘Twas the Night
Before Christmas
by storyteller Lorraine Hartin-Gelardi, as
well as other holiday
favorites.
Story Times: 1:30
pm, 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm
Holiday Hunt Event Fee:
