Part green market, part flea market, this is your opportunity to stock up on homemade breads, jellies, and local produce while shuffling through vintage clothing and handmade accessories. This market has a really pleasant, hippy-dippy feel to it that makes you feel like you’ve been transported out of New York City and into an upstate commune that is somehow subway accessible.

This year-round Williamsburg market has a nice blend of vintage dealers and local artists and designers to meet and greet. Super friendly environment, and if you’re good at bargaining you can get some really unique stuff here for recession friendly prices.

Furniture, food, and fashion. This is modest sized out-door market, but there are some really amazing deals to be had here…especially if you’re looking to furnish your home. If you’re torn between spending your weekend buying produce at the Green Market or rummaging for deals, this is a great compromise as there are plenty of produce, confectionary, butcher, and bread stands for your eating pleasure.

The Lower East Side is boutique central, and this weekend flea market includes stand by many of the local shops and restaurants at discounted rates. The shopping is great, but the food is to die for. If it’s the weekend and you’re looking to nibble your way through the day, and possibly come out better dressed for it definitely hit up Hester Street.
