Lt "Paddy" Concannon FDNY(ret) is President/Founder of the Fire Family Transport
Foundation and Project Leader of the IRON and STEEL Team.

Lt "Paddy" Concannon with 2 sections of steel from the World Trade Center. The "cross" section, was dedicated, on August 24, 2008, to the first responders, and those who lost their lives, on United Flight 93. It's final resting place is the Shanksville Fire Company, Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The I-beam section on the bottom, was dedicated to the men and women of the United States Army, on September 17, 2009, at the National Infantry Museum, Fort Benning, Georgia, who have lost their lives on and since the attacks of, September 11, 2001, and to the soldiers who continue to serve. It's final resting place, will be next to the statue of Col Rick Rescorla, at the National Infantry Museum. There is a "sister" section of the I-beam at the National Infantry Museum; its final resting place is now with the US Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Additional sections (not pictured) will be escorted to Arlington, VA, August 28, 2010.
