- Are you looking for something to do over the Spring Break week? Bring the entire family to the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum’s Wildlife Education Center, 25 Boulevard, Cornwall-on-Hudson for a special spring-time celebration of the Museum’s live animals! Participants will enjoy animal presentations, guided hikes, stories and crafts each day.
- Meet the Animals of the Day at 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Guided Hikes will take place at 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Story Time will be at 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
- Each day has a special theme:
- April 13 is “Monday’s BUG Me” – Learn all about insects, spiders and other crawly creatures. Meet some of the Museum’s live giant bugs!
- April 14 is “Tuesday’s Terrific TURTLES” – Slow and steady or speedy sprinters, turtles come in lots of shapes and sizes. Learn fascinating facts about these ancient animals.
- April 15 is “Wings on Wednesday” – Let your imagination take flight while exploring the world of birds.
- April 16 features: “Thoroughly Reptile Thursday” – A day of scales and tales. Come meet some of the museum’s resident reptiles!
- And, April 17 is FROG-gy Friday – Leap into spring with some amphibian fun. Learn about frogs, salamanders and toads.
- No pre-registration required. Cost: Adults, $7, Children 3 and up $5. Members: Adults, $5, children 3 and up $3.
