Customers are urged to limit water use
A clogged water intake pipe in the Hudson River has significantly reduced the amount of water that can be treated by the Hyde Park Water Treatment Plant and supplied to the distribution system. The Hyde Park, Staatsburg and Harbourd Hills/Zone D water systems are the areas affected.
The Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority is requesting all its customers in Hyde Park and Rhinebeck to take steps to reduce water use until further notice.
Workers are having difficulty fixing the problem due to the amount of ice that has accumulated on the river.
Customers will be notified when the situation returns to the normal. Call the county Water Wastewater Authority at 845-486-3601 for details.
The things attracte me in your blog is what you write and the style you demonstrate. Thank you. Best wishes to you.
