Munich Meets New York at Bear Mountain's Annual Oktoberfest
Two More Weekends! Saturday and Sunday, October 17, 18, 23 and 24 12 Noon - 6 p.m.

Bear Mountain will host their annual Oktoberfest, again this weekend through October 25 from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. The festival will feature authentic German food and beer, live entertainment and craft vendors.
The Adam Barthalt Band (www.adambarthalt.com) will play super charged Polka on October 17. October 24, Fritz's Polka Band (www.fritzspolkaband.com) energizes the final weekend with their non-stereotypical polka music. Other featured bands include the Austrian Boyson October 18, and JT Lustiegen Musikanten on October 25.
Circle-Line Sightseeing Cruise has an annual Oktoberfest cruise that runs every weekend during the month of October! Basically, you hop on the boat from Pier 83 in Manhattan at 8:30am sharp and go for a 2-hour cruise up the Hudson River (enjoying beautiful scenery of fall foliage and views of the George Washington Bridge and other sites along the way) all the way up to Bear Mountain State Park. On the boat, you can buy all of the beer you want. Once you get to Bear Mountain State Park, the festivities really begin with German food, beer, and entertainment. You leave the park at 3:30pm for your 2-hour cruise back to Pier 83 which drops you off by 5:30pm. Ticket Prices are as follows: Adults ($49), Children ($30), and Senior Citizens ($40).
Visitors can also take advantage of the autumn splendor at Bear Mountain with a boat ride around Hessian Lake, a stroll in the park, or a magical ride on the Merry Go Round. Sunday Brunch is back at the Overlook Lodge, so enjoy our scrumptious buffet, while taking in the breathtaking views of the Hudson River.

Bear Mountain Inn Complex, managed by Guest Services, offers 24-guest rooms at the Overlook Lodge, four stone cottages with six guest rooms each, and over 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space at the Overlook Lodge, Cliff House, and Merry-Go-Round Pavilion. Activities for all ages and interests abound onsite with boat rentals, playing fields, picnic groves, outdoor swimming pool, nature trails, Trailside Museum and Zoo, Perkins Memorial Tower, and the Bear Mountain Merry-Go-Round.
The historic Bear Mountain Inn is currently undergoing extensive work to bring it back to its original splendor. At the completion of the renovations, the Inn will offer 15 luxury suites, a spa, fitness center, full-service restaurant, and lounge with over 20,000 square feet of meeting and catering space, the Hiker's Lounge offering grab-and-go foods, and the Hudson Valley Store featuring park memorable and local crafts.
