Spend Saturday, March 3, 2012 with “city girl” turned “cow girl” Rory Schepisi ’97 as she shares her passion for the versatility and quality of Certified Angus Beef®. You’ll enjoy her cooking demonstration in the Danny Kaye Theatre followed by a fabulous dinner in the American Bounty Restaurant (Hyde Park, NY).
A native of New Jersey, Rory traded in her Jimmy Choo shoes for a pair of cowboy boots seven years ago when she met her cowboy boyfriend and settled down in Vega, TX. Today, she is the owner of the highly regarded Boot Hill Saloon & Grill in Vega. In addition, Rory appeared on season three of The Next Food Network Star, was named “Best Chef of the West” in 2008 and 2009 by the Texas Restaurant Association, and is in the process of completing her first cookbook, The Southern Yankee.
